Wor Flags, the prominent Newcastle United fan group, has made a remarkable gesture of solidarity by donating one of their iconic flags to a fan group at Bradford City, North West Kollektive.

The flag in question is the huge "Alexander the Great" display, which was originally created in tribute to Magpies striker Alexander Isak.

The donation to the League One club's supporters is a touching sign of community spirit within English football and builds on the goodwill generated by the recent Carabao Cup clash between the two sides.

The move has been widely praised by supporters of both clubs, who see it as a symbol of unity.

The flag, a massive tifo display, will now be used to inspire a new generation of supporters at the University of Bradford Stadium, formerly Valley Parade.

The Alexander the Great connection

The "Alexander the Great" display was originally conceived by Wor Flags in November 2024 as a stunning tribute to striker Alexander Isak, whose record-breaking transfer made him an immediate fan favourite.

The flag features a distinctive crown and sword design, often surrounded by the Swedish colours.

However, the gesture holds a deeper significance for Bradford City fans.

Their manager, Graham Alexander, has been affectionately nicknamed "Alexander the Great" by many supporters after leading the club to a dramatic promotion from League Two.

The donation of a flag with the same moniker is a perfect nod to the recent managerial reunion and the mutual respect between the two clubs, turning a tribute to a player into a source of pride for another club's supporters.
