Ruben Amorim is determined to bring in a new goal keeper at Manchester United before the Premier League transfer window slams shut.
Ahead of the September 1 deadline, the clock is ticking on Amorim's plans, with the majority of his summer business focusing on new attackers.
The Red Devils have spent around £225m to bring in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko but his No.1 spot remains uncertain.
Altay Bayındır started the opening two games of the season, in a 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal, before a 1-1 draw on the road at Fulham.
The Turkey international kept his spot for the weekend win over Burnley - United's first of the campaign - with Andre Onana remaining on the bench.
Four goals conceded and three unconvincing performances have underlined the need for a replacement with Onana shipping two goals in the embarrassing EFL Cup defeat at Grimsby Town.

United have been unsuccessful in their attempts to offload Onana, but Amorim cannot afford to wait, with two targets lined up for deadline day.
United target Emi Martinez as No.1 Plan B option
Amorim is keeping a close eye on Aston Villa veteran Emi Martinez, with the Argentina international appearing certain to leave earlier in the window, but he is not the priority.
United are open to a player-plus-deal, which would involve Jadon Sancho heading to Villa Park, and Martinez moving to Old Trafford.
Sancho and Antony remain as the two remaining members of Amorim's 'bomb squad' with exits deals already agreed to offload Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho to Barcelona and Chelsea respectively.

However, as per reports from The Athletic, that is viewed as a back up for Amorim as he aims to plan for the long-term in Manchester.
Belgian star Senne Lammens is still Amorim's first-choice to replace Bayındır and Onana, but Royal Antwerp are prepared to hold firm on their €25m transfer demand.
Lammens is under contract n Antwerp until 2027, but the club view this as their last chance to secure a high fee, and the 23-year-old is open to the move.
