Ruben Amorim has admitted that "sometimes I want to quit" Manchester United job, as the club continue to struggle.
The latest blow comes after the Red Devils were defeated 12-11 on penalties to League Two side Grimsby Twon in the Carabao Cup.
Speaking ahead of United's clash with newly-promoted Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday, Amorim was forthcoming with his feelings and the pressure in the job.
"Sometimes I want to quit, sometimes I want to be here for 20 years. Sometimes I don't want to be with my players. I need to improve on that."
After the embarrassing loss to Grimsby on August 27, the United boss said post-match that his players "spoke loud" during the match. He went on to clarify those comments.
"I know that when I speak these things, to be really honest, every time that we have a defeat like that, I will be like that.
"Sometimes I hate my players, sometimes I love my players, this is my way of doing things. I am going to be like that. In that moment, I was so frustrated."

Amorim went on to admit that he's not going to change his passionate ways to fit the media's expectations.
It's reported that the head coach will be meeting with the United bosses during the September International break to discuss his future.
It's now a case of whether Amorim decides to walk away, or if Manchester United will decide to stick or twist.
