Australia will look to continue their T20 World Cup title defence, with a clash against old rivals England set for Friday night (AEDT).
The reigning champions were embarrassed by New Zealand in their tournament opener, but bounced back with a win against Sri Lanka on Tuesday night.
England on the other hand have started the tournament with a win over Afghanistan, as well as going 2-0 against the Aussies in a warm-up series, but will be looking to bounce back from a shock loss to Ireland.
The match looms a must-win for both teams, with New Zealand currently clear at the top of the group.
As the host nation, the Aussies are sure to have plenty of support behind them at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, in what will act as the second match of a double-header after Afghanistan take on Ireland earlier in the day.
