One of the Round of 16’s most electrifying matchups at the Club World Cup is set for Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium: Real Madrid vs. Juventus, a classic clash between two of Europe’s most storied clubs, with only one surviving to the quarter-finals.
Xabi Alonso is steering a new era for Madrid, blending veterans with emerging stars like Arda Guler and academy product Gonzalo Garcia. Los Blancos have yet to taste defeat in the tournament, and with Endrick returning from injury, and Mbappe’s arrival looming, Madrid has their sights firmly set on the last eight.
Juventus, meanwhile, stumbled into second place in their group after being outclassed 5-2 by Manchester City. That loss set up this daunting early showdown with Real. Still, for a club chasing its first international silverware since 1996, this is a golden opportunity to upset the odds and remind the world of the Old Lady’s pedigree.
Betfair oddsmakers favour Madrid at 5/6 to win in 90 minutes. Juventus is a 7/2 underdog to win outright. The draw pays 14/5.

Real Madrid vs. Juventus prediction, tips, bet builder and odds for Club World Cup clash
Real Madrid to score first: 4/6 (Betway)
Expect a tense, chess-like start when Real Madrid and Juventus square off in Miami, with both sides likely to keep things cautious early on. But once the clock ticks past the half-hour mark, Los Blancos tend to flip the switch. In all three of their group-stage matches at the Club World Cup, Madrid found the breakthrough right before half-time — with Gonzalo Garcia striking in the 35th minute against Al Hilal, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler delivering in the same time window vs. Pachuca, and Vinicius Jr. hitting in the 40th against Salzburg. If patterns hold, there’s real value in backing Madrid to break the deadlock late in the first half once again.
Over 2.5 Total Goals: 8/11 (Betway)
With these two European heavyweights going head-to-head, a high-scoring clash could well be on the cards. Juventus comes in as one of the most potent sides from the group stage — only Manchester City and Bayern Munich scored more. The Bianconeri tallied 11 goals in just three matches, while Real Madrid’s attack has also been firing on all cylinders, netting three each against Pachuca and Salzburg. Historically, their head-to-head battles also support this pick: four of their last five meetings have featured at least three goals, as have Juve’s last four outings. Expect fireworks.
