The new-look FIFA Club World Cup has reached the final, with one of two teams from the initial 32 set to lift the new trophy.

Also notable is the enormous prize pot of potential money to be earned, which FIFA has touted in the hope that clubs will take the competition seriously, despite the fact it presents a massive additional strain on the football calendar.

The final sees a clash of European heavyweights as Champions League winners PSG take on Chelsea on Sunday July 13 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey..

Who will win Club World Cup 2025? Betting odds, favourites

As the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup comes to a climax, it sees a clash between two sides in fine form, both of whom bounced back from opening group game losses to make their way to the final.

PSG's prowess is well-known, with a record-breaking 5-0 Champions League final win over Inter being followed up by a 4-0 hammering of Real Madrid in the semi-final here.

They will be heavily tipped to win another trophy on Sunday, but Chelsea are no pushover, with an incredibly expensively built squad looking the part under Enzo Maresca. New boy João Pedro was the hero in the semi-final against his boyhood club Fluminense, and the Blues will be confident of causing an upset.

Here’s a breakdown of the latest favourites and odds heading into the semis. All odds are for 90 mins and are correct at time of publish.

2025 Club World Cup pre-tournament prediction

On the whole, it could be argued that Barcelona are the best team in the world at the moment, but they are not at the Club World Cup.

Thus, European champions PSG are most likely widely viewed as the second-best team in the world, and surely the best in the Club World Cup field by a decent margin.

After clobbering Inter Milan in the Champions League final, it's hard to imagine them being upended by anyone else in the Club World Cup, including now-flawed recent European champions Real Madrid.

Madrid will be working out the kinks under a new manager, and while they should improve under his leadership, it will take time for his philosophies to show truly tangible results. Additionally, he cannot paper over a number of squad deficiencies that still need addressing in the transfer window.
