Rangers vs. Celtic prediction, lineups, odds and bet builder tips for SPL Old Firm derby image

The first Old Firm derby of the season highlights a cracking weekend of football north of the border as two under pressure sides face each other when Rangers face Celtic at Ibrox.

Russell Martin is enduring a woeful start to life as Rangers boss and he is already under scrutiny after the Gers suffered a 9-1 aggregate loss to Club Brugge in the playoff round of the UEFA Champions League. They are also winless in the Scottish Premiership, too, with three draws from three.

That leaves them six points behind Celtic already as a result of the Bhoys beginning the defence of their Scottish title with three wins from three, but Brendan Rodgers will also be beginning to feel the perils of stagnation after they suffered a shock penalty shootout loss to Kairat in the UCL in midweek.

The Sporting News takes you through the latest odds, tips and predictions as the giants of Scottish football face off after humiliating weeks in Belgium and Kazakhstan respectively.
