In the third and final matchday of Group A of the 2025 Club World Cup, Porto and Al Ahly face each other in a match that could leave either one qualified for the Round of 16 or both eliminated. For now, both must win at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and await what happens between Inter Miami and Palmeiras.
The two sides have a point apiece so far in the competition, and are coming off losses in matchday two. Both need a win, and to hope there is a winner in the other game to progress.

Porto to win and Both Teams To Score: 21/10 (Bet365)
With both sides needing to win here, caution could well be thrown to the wind, and it's about time either scored some goals. Al Ahly have yet to score, while Porto have the one goal to their name, but we're predicting that things change here, with the Portuguese giants shading it.
Samuel Omorodion to score any time: 19/20 (Betway)
The scorer of Porto's only goal so far is no fluke. Samuel Omorodion, popularly known as Samu, opened the scoring against Inter Miami from the penalty spot and although it was not enough to win the game, the 21-year-old striker left a very good impression with his power and presence in the opponent's area.
With 19 goals in 30 games in the Primeira Liga last season, and another six in the Europa League, Samu is a threat with both with the ball at feet and in the air. Against an opponent that let in two against Palmeiras, the striker is a great candidate to score here, and his odds double if you pick him to break the deadlock (10/3).
Porto vs. Al Ahly expected lineups, team news
FC Porto continue to be without starting goalkeeper, Diogo Costa, who suffered an adductor injury prior to their opening match. It's unclear how long the Portugal international will be out.
Porto coach Martin Anselmi may give an opportunity to Nehuen Perez and Stephen Eustaquio in the final group game.
FC Porto predicted XI (3-4-2-1, right to left): Ramos (GK) — Perez, Pedro, Marcano — Mario, Varela, Eustaquio, Moura — Veiga, Mora — Omorodion.
Injured: Costa
Suspended: None
As for Al Ahly, their star midfielder Emam Ashour will be out of this clash as he suffered a broken collarbone during the opening match and has been sidelined until at least late August. Therefore, former Aston Villa winger Trezeguet and star striker Wessam Abou Ali will need to step up to cover his absence.
The other notable absentees include Mohamed Abdallah (muscle), Omaar El Saaiy (muscle), Roda Slim (knee), Samir Mohamed (muscle), and Taher Mohamed (ligament).
Al Ahly predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): El Shenawy (GK) — Hany, Dari, Ibrahim, Attiyat-Allah — Ben Romdhane, Attia, Fathi — Zizo, Ali, Trezeguet.
Injured: Ashour, Abdallah, Saaiy, Slim, Samir Mohamed, Taher Mohamed.
Suspended: None
