Man Utd vs. Burnley prediction, lineups, odds and bet builder tips for critical Premier League clash for Ruben Amorim image

It's only the fourth game of their season and still August, but Manchester United and Ruben Amorim are already in win or bust territory as they take on Burnley at Old Trafford.

After the horror show of last season, a good start was needed by the United boss. Instead, he's gained one point from two Premier League games, and then suffered the ignominy of a shambolic and deserved penalty shootout loss to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.

Nothing but three points against the newly promoted Clarets will suffice, but Scott Parker and his side will be confident of causing an upset against the ailing Red Devils.

The Sporting News previews a game with so much on the line.

Manchester United vs. Burnley team news

  • Benjamin Sesko made his first start for United in the abysmal loss at Grimsby, and should keep his spot here.
  • It's hard to see any other changes for United from the draw at Fulham, with very few players putting their hands up at Blundell Park.
  • Hannibal Mejbri will start against his former side, while ex-Man City skipper Kyle Walker will be looking for another win at Old Trafford.
