Club World Cup betting tips: Juventus vs. Wydad expert football predictions and latest odds image

Juventus are back in action on Sunday at the 2025 Club World Cup with a great chance to secure their place in the Round of 16 if they can beat Wydad in Group G.

The Old Lady had a near perfect start to the tournament in the United States thanks to braces from Kolo Muani and Sergio Conceicao and a goal from Kenan Yildiz to secure a 5-0 win over Al Ain.

That also gained them an important goal difference advantage, which could be a key factor in what looks set to be a neck-and-neck battle with Manchester City for top spot in the pool.

Wydad, meanwhile, suffered at the hands of Manchester City. Despite the Premier League side playing at half pace and with Pep Guardiola keeping some of his leading lights back, the Moroccans were still well beaten 2-0 and will have it all to do against another European giant.

That will not be an easy task, but Amine Benhachem's side will still be hoping to spring a surprise in their first-ever meeting with Juventus.

According to AK Bets, Juve are the clear favourites in this match. A win for the Turin side pays 3/10, while a victory for Wydad goes up to 12/1 and the draw is 9/2.

Juventus to score in both halves: 11/10 (Sky Bet)

The expectation will be for Juventus to come out firing in this one, and we think it's more than likely they will score first against a weak Wydad side. The Italian side have opened the scoring in eight of their last nine matches and against Al Ain they scored two early goals before the 30th minute (Kolo Muani after 11' and Conceicao after 21'). Wydad, meanwhile, have fallen behind in four of their five most recent matches and are coming off the back of an early goal from Phil Foden in their loss to Manchester City. We're taking Juve to score early to break the deadlock in this one, and then go on to seal the deal after the break.

Over 5.5 cards in the match: 33/20 (Virgin Bet)

In addition to their goals, Juventus also picked up four cautions in their opening match. Despite a game in which their opponents did not put up much resistance, the Italian side committed 14 fouls against Al Ain, with McKennie, Cambiaso (first half) Gatti and Conceicao all shown yellow cards. For their part, Wydad were well behaved against Man City, even in a game that saw a sending off for Rico Lewis, but the officials have still been somewhat card happy in this tournament so far, so this bet looks a decent option.
