Tottenham Hotspur are in negotiations with Crystal Palace in the final hours of the summer transfer window deadline day.

The Eagles are working on multiple deadline day moves as they desperately need attacking players after losing Eberechi Eze to Arsenal earlier in the window.

Therefore, Palace are in talks with Tottenham over a loan deal for Manor Solomon as per reports via Sky Sports

Last season's FA Cup champions are also working on a deal to sign Getafe's Christantus Uche and just to be on the safer side they are keen to bring Solomon to Selhurst Park on a temporary deal.

Tottenham are willing to let go off the Israel international, especially after they signed Ran Kolo Muani on loan from PSG after his move to Juventus broke down.

Solomon has trained with the first team all summer after his successful loan stint with Leeds United in the Championship last season.

Why are Spurs allowing Manor Solomon to move to Crystal Palace?

With Kolo Muani's inclusion, Spurs have depth in attack with the likes of Richarlison, Dominic Solanke, Mohammed Kudus, Brennan Johnson, Xavi Simons, etc.

So, they have no space for the 26-year-old who has demanded first-team football from Spurs manager Thomas Frank.

Therefore, a loan move to Palace suits all the parties as he will fancy his chances of getting more minutes at Selhurst Park than at Tottenham.

Leeds United explored the possibility of signing Solomon, but things didn't materialize for the newly promoted Premier League outfit as they landed Noah Okafor from AC Milan.

Overall, he was very impressive for the Whites last season, returning with 22 goal contributions in their Championship triumph under Daniel Farke.

Predominantly a left-winger, Solomon can also feature in a central role right behind the striker and could be a handy signing for Glasner in the season ahead.

Solomon joined Spurs in 2023 on a free transfer but before that he played for Fulham on loan and did reasonably well for the Cottagers.

Hence, Palace feel he could be a great squad option for Glasner especially in a season where they will be featuring in the Conference League.
