India's build-up to the Asia Cup 2025 officially kicked off in Dubai earlier this week with the defending champions holding their first practice session at the ICC Academy.
The squad, back together after a month-long break following the England Test tour, put in an intense training session on Sunday.
With the tournament opener against hosts UAE set for September 10, followed by Pakistan on September 14 and Oman on September 19, the focus was on fitness and skills ahead of a packed schedule.

Suryakumar Yadav impressed by India's training energy
Earlier this week, India captain Suryakumar Yadav sounded upbeat about the atmosphere in the camp. He praised the commitment of his teammates during the opening session - pointing out how their work ethic set the tone for the tournament.
"To have such a brilliant bunch around with unbelievable skill sets, I always have a smile on my face when I see those boys on the ground. Because the way they put their body on the line, that's what I want from them."
