Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has now reflected on his thoughts over the clash, remarking that the Pakistan side played better cricket this time around.

Pakistan played better cricket against India, says Manjrekar

The Pakistani side displayed a much better performance against Team India as they took on the World Champions in a Super 4s clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India crushed Pakistan when the two sides met during the group stages, as the Men In Green were completely outplayed in all departments. Pakistan, however, showed a much more resilient and better fight against the World No.1 side this time around.

Sanjay Manjekar took to X (Formerly Twitter), as he mentioned that India was definitely the better side, but Pakistan also played good cricket in this encounter, compared to their previous results against India.

"Well done, Abhishek, well done, Gill, but let’s not forget Dube’s contribution today. Crucial. Pakistan was better tonight, but India just have too much ability," wrote Manjrekar.
