The Asia Cup 2025 is moving into its next stage with the group stage wrapping up this Friday. India have already sealed their spot in the Super 4 after winning both of their Group A matches while the remaining three slots are still open.

Hong Kong and Oman have been knocked out but the rest of the teams remains in contention. With the Super 4s set to begin on Saturday, here is a detailed look at how the stage works, which teams qualify and what the schedule looks like.

Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 format explained

The Super 4 stage features the top two teams from Group A and Group B. These four teams are pooled together into a single group where each side plays the other three once.

Unlike knockout semi-finals, this is another round-robin phase - giving every team three more matches. The points system is unchanged: two points for a win, one for a no result and none for a loss.

If teams are tied on points, Net Run Rate decides the rankings. At the end of this stage, the top two teams qualify for the final in Dubai on Sunday, September 28.
