India's young left-handed opening sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal missed out on a well-deserved double-ton as his innings came to a frustrating end on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies.

Jaiswal was dismissed run out after a disastrous mix-up with the Indian skipper Shubman Gill. The opener has now opened up on the incident

It's a part of the game, says Jaiswal on the run-out incident

Resuming on his score of 173, where he left overnight, the Mumbai batter got dismissed on the very second over of the day. While he was looking well-set for yet another double-ton in Test cricket, a slight misjudgement brought his innings to a frustrating end.

Jaiswal punched a delivery of Jayden Seales straight to mid-off and took off for a single, only to be sent back by Gill. Tagenarine Chaderpaul, who was fielding in that area, quickly picked up the ball and threw it to the wicket-keeper, who uprooted the stumps.

Talking to Star Sports at the end of the second day's play, Jaiswal said, "It's a part of the game. So it's fine."

Post his dismissal, the batter was visibly upset and was seen repeatedly telling his skipper that it was his call. However, Gill never looked interested in the single and was watching the ball.

India on course for yet another series win at home

Jaiswal's 175, followed by captain Gill's another Test ton powered India to a huge first innings total of 518/5. India declared their innings as Jurel missed out on a half-century. Sai Sudharshan (87 runs), the young No.3 batter, earlier missed out on a well-deserved Test hundred.

The Indian bowlers backed up their batters, as they clinched 4 wickets before Stumps on Day 2. West Indies ended at 140/4, still trailing by 378 runs.

India are already coming off an innings victory in the first Test and would be keen on repeating the result as they take to the field for the third day.
