The mix-up between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies could have easily turned awkward.
But instead, what followed in the Indian dressing room turned into one of the most heartwarming moments of the match.

A video shared online showed both players laughing together after the run-out and proved that good spirit and team bonding still come first for Team India.
The incident took place during India’s strong first innings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where Jaiswal was once again in brilliant touch before his unfortunate dismissal.
What happened between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill on Day 2?
During the 92nd over, Jaiswal drove a delivery firmly to mid-off and immediately called for a quick single.
He had already sprinted halfway down the pitch, but Gill, standing at the non-striker’s end, didn’t respond. The hesitation proved costly as Tagenarine Chanderpaul’s sharp throw found Tevin Imlach breaking the stumps at the keeper’s end.
Jaiswal, who had batted beautifully for 175 runs, was understandably disappointed as he walked back to the pavilion.

The dismissal ended a promising 74-run partnership between the two and could have dampened the mood. Gill remained composed and went on to score a century, finishing unbeaten on 129 before India declared their innings at 518/5.
