South Africa took on Australia in the first T20I of the three-match series in Darwin on August 10 as they look to find their best combination ahead of the T20 World Cup.
After being called back to the South African team, Dewald Brevis started the series at No. 4 to cement his spot ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup.
With the recent retirement of Heinrich Klaasen, the Proteas have made some changes to their batting line-up, and Brevis looks like a perfect fit for the middle order spot.

With one ball left in the powerplay, Brevis attempted to swing at a length delivery towards the midwicket boundary but was rushed into the shot. He only managed to find a leading edge that went straight to Sean Abbott at the covers.
