The Washington Commanders have been able to rely on wide receiver Deebo Samuel with the team dealing with injuries at the position through the first six weeks of the 2025 campaign.

With Terry McLaurin sidelined for the last three games, Samuel has stepped up big time as the Commanders' No. 1 wide receiver.

However, Samuel had a quiet first half in the Week 6 game against the Chicago Bears. Here's a closer look at what's up with the veteran wideout.

Is Deebo Samuel playing tonight?

While Samuel was on the injury report and was questionable to play, he is active on Monday night. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get much going over the first two quarters, with Samuel having just two catches for two yards.

We haven't even seen Samuel get involved in the running game, something we've seen fairly regularly this season.

It is odd to see Samuel not being featured more given McLaurin's absence. Hopefully the second half yields better results for Samuel.
