The Washington Commanders are looking toward what could be a couple major absences in Week 4.
For the second consecutive day, Thursday's practice was lacking both Terry McLaurin and Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
The star WR and the rookie RB have both been DNPs twice this week.
They'll have one more day to get an official practice in, Friday, before their Week 4 matchup with the Falcons on Sunday.

McLaurin has a quad injury.
Croskey-Merritt has a knee injury.
There's slightly better news for JCM. ESPN's John Keim reported Thursday that the rookie was in full pads during practice, but instead of being on field with the team, he was doing work with strength and conditioning coaches.
Wide receiver Noah Brown has yet to play this season, and he's also a pair of DNPs so far this week, so the Commanders will be extra shorthanded if McLaurin can't go.
Deebo Samuel would likely see even more work, and the likes of Chris Moore, Jaylin Lane and Luke McCaffrey could be called into more action.

At running back, the Commanders were also using Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols last week, so they'd likely just get more touches.
Washington is also awaiting Jayden Daniels' status. He's been limited on back to back days due to his knee injury. Marcus Mariota would start a second consecutive week if Daniels can't go.
There's a lot still to be figured out for the Commanders.
