The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have two question marks at wide receiver going into the Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions on Monday night, as both Emeka Egbuka and Mike Evans are listed as questionable.
Evans has missed three games in a row with a hamstring injury, while Egbuka suffered his own hamstring injury in the Week 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
During the week, head coach Todd Bowles labeled both as game-time decisions.
"It's possible. It's not definite," he said of Egbuka on Saturday. "It's gonna go all the way up until game time. He wants to play, but that depends on how he feels and how he looks."
Here's what we know about both Evans' and Egbuka's chances of playing on Monday night despite having a questionable tag.
Is Mike Evans playing in Week 7?
Evans is a game-time decision, but ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed that the veteran wideout is "likely to play" on Monday night.
"Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is likely to play," ESPN's Jenna Laine relayed.
The fact that Evans closed out the week with a full practice gives even more optimism for his chances of suiting up.
Is Emeka Egbuka playing in Week 7?
Egbuka's status isn't as certain, but there is hope for his chances of playing.
Also per Schefter, Egbuka "has a real chance" to play for the Bucs against the Lions on Monday night.
Egbuka finished off the week with a limited session, which was an upgrade from his non-participation on Thursday and Friday, but that doesn't guarantee he will ultimately play.
