Deebo Samuel offers uplifting message for Fred Warner after 49ers LB's gruesome injury image

Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is sending his love to 49ers linebacker Fred Warner after he suffered a gruesome injury on Sunday.

Warner suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After watching the replay, which was tough to look at, it is very clear that Warner has a significant injury and will be lost for the season.

After that tragic situation unfolded, Samuel took to social media to offer an uplifting message for Warner ahead of what figures to be a long recovery.

"Cmon 54," Samuel wrote on X. "God gotcha twin."

Of course, Samuel was a 2019 second-round pick of the Niners and spent his first six seasons in the NFL in San Francisco.

Samuel saw his tenure with the Niners end during the offseason after he was traded to the Washington Commanders. Clearly Deebo still has plenty of love for his former teammates.

When you talk about the most injury-plagued teams in the NFL over the past few years, the Niners are at or at least near the top of the list.

Warner's injury is just the latest blow to the Niners' defense, which is also without star edge rusher Nick Bosa, who suffered a torn ACL a few weeks back.

Unfortunately for the Niners, it's going to be impossible to fill both players' shoes, but general manager John Lynch has to do what he can to help out the defense ahead of the trade deadline.
