Danny Smith is a national treasure and we need to protect the Pittsburgh Steelers special teams coordinator at all costs.
As it turns out, Smith isn't just a gum-chewing special teams aficionado, he's also awesome at impersonations.
Well, maybe not awesome, but he did have a hilarious one of Steelers tight end Connor Heyward when he was sharing player reactions to running back Kaleb Johnson's Week 2 kickoff blunder against the Seattle Seahawks.
"You know, before I even got to Kaleb, the players were at Kaleb," Smith said of the rookie's teammates holding him accountable for the mistake. "So, I didn't say much, to be honest with you."
Then, he busted out this incredible impersonation:

If you don't love this man, you have no heart. I don't make the rules.
"I really didn't say much on the field to him," he added on Johnson. "We replaced him at that time, he wasn't ready to go back on the field. And, I dealt with it the next day in the tape session."
Since Johnson's blunder, he has lost his kick return duties and has been replaced by fellow running back, Trey Sermon, who was elevated from the practice squad in Weeks 3 and 4.
However, Johnson did actually see a season-high 11 snaps in the Week 4 win over the Vikings after fellow back Jaylen Warren was ruled out. He carried the rock six times for 22 yards.
