The Philadelphia Eagles get to raise the curtain on the 2025 NFL season. The defending Super Bowl champions play in the league's first game of the regular season, clashing with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.
There had been at least a little question about whether an injury could hinder A.J. Brown's ability to take the field in his usual No. 1 wide receiver role for the Eagles.
No need to worry any longer.
Over the weekend, Brown made clear that he'd be on the field.
Brown said, via the Philadelphia Enquirer, "Hell yeah" he'd play against Dallas.

The star WR missed chunks of training camp with a hamstring injury.
He initially left practice on Aug. 1. Reports indicate he was back at practice Sunday.
Last season, Brown missed three games with a hamstring problem, so the recurrence doesn't seem ideal.

Brown has been Philly's top WR through his first three seasons in the city of brotherly love.
The Eagles have Devonta Smith along with him to form a dynamic 1-2 punch out wide, but their depth behind those two pass catchers is slim, so having both of them out there as much as possible is crucial for Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia's passing game, which provides a great complement to Hurts and Saquon Barkley on the ground.
