Why Jets' RB Braelon Allen can credit Derrick Henry for his bright future image

If you don't know the name Braelon Allen, you likely will soon.

He's technically the No. 2 running back for the New York Jets, but he should see plenty of action this season.

And he's big and powerful. Some might even say he reminds them, just a little, of Derrick Henry.

And that makes sense for a reason you might not expect. Allen spent time this offseason with Henry.

Braelon Allen's connection to Derrick Henry

King Henry spent time with Allen this offseason.

"He was among the backs... training with Ravens all-world running back Derrick Henry," SNY's Connor Hughes shared on X on Sunday. "... The biggest value to that time spent with Henry were the moments picking his brain on what has helped him turn into a player that one day will have a gold jacket."

There isn't anyone better to learn from in the modern NFL.
