The New York Jets might have succumbed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 29-20 to remain winless in 2025, but there might be a couple of green shoots of Aaron Glenn's culture shift happening.
Down 23-6 to start the last quarter, last season, with Aaron Rodgers and Co., there was a real chance that could have ended in a blowout loss, but with Glenn at the helm, and veteran Tyrod Taylor helping pull the strings, the Jets never gave up.
In fact, with two touchdowns and a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown, New York took the lead late before Chase McLaughlin's game-winning field goal.
And listening to Tyrod's comments post-game, yeah, things might be starting to change when asked what the biggest lesson to take away from the loss will be.
“That we don't waver, that we believe in one another,” Taylor said. “There was plenty of times in that game where if you have a team that's not together or no continuity, then guys can go different ways. First half wasn't pretty by any means, and I take responsibility for the offensive side of that.
"But what we did do is come together in the second half and put together a number of plays to put ourselves in a position to win that game at the end.”

Jets nearly pull off comeback vs. Buccaneers
The blocked field goal attempt that was returned for a touchdown by Will McDonald put the Jets into the lead, but left enough time for Baker Mayfield and Co. to score, needing only a field goal.
The Jets came so close to completing what would have been a comeback for the ages, and in truth, the mentality to not only not throw in the towel, but to keep fighting to the extent that you end up ahead in the game should be commended.
Yes, there are no moral victories in football, but we did see signs of Glenn's culture shift at Raymond James Stadium.
It was a small step, but one that is in the right direction despite the loss.
