If you bet on the Los Angeles Rams at +3.5 or less in the Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, you're going to be sick.
Los Angeles was trailing 27-26 in the closing seconds and was in field goal range to win the game. At the very least, the Rams were going to cover.
And then disaster struck.
Philadelphia not only blocked the kick, but it was also returned for a touchdown, which means the Rams didn't cover after all.
Adding insult to injury, 336-pound defensive lineman Jordan Davis was the one who ran it all the way back for the touchdown.
And a wild finish in Philadelphia.

Talk about your all-time bad beats.
Making it worse, the Rams were well in control for much of the game before things went downhill in the third quarter on.
Los Angeles had a 26-7 lead at one point in the third quarter but slowly saw it evaporate as the Eagles dropped 26 unanswered points the rest of the way.
It's beats like these that want to make bettors quit.
