The New York Giants lost to the Washington Commanders 21-6 on Sunday afternoon. This is another season that the Giants have started 0-1 and there are once again many questions about the offense.

Russell Wilson struggled in the game against Washington by completing 17-of-37 passes for 168 yards. Many Giants fans were wondering if he is already going to get benched in Week 2. Well, Dan Duggan of the Athletic mentioned on his Twitter page that head coach Brian Daboll confirmed that Wilson is going to be start on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. When this was announced, this did not sit well with some of the fans.

New York Giants Fans Baffled Over Decision to Start Russell Wilson Over Jaxson Dart

There is no doubt that Giants fans are completely baffled over the decision by Daboll to start Wilson once again over Dart in Week 2 against the Cowboys on the road. This is a must-win game for the Giants in another NFC East affair. New York fans had some interesting reactions on Twitter to Daboll's decision to start Wilson over Dart in Week 2.

There is no doubt that the Giants are going to need winning results with Wilson against the Cowboys in Week 2. If the offense looks the same in Week 2 against Dallas, then Dart is most likely going to be the starting quarterback for New York in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. A lot of Giants fans want to point to the offensive line being the issue, but Daboll may have no choice but to switch to Dart soon anyways in order to save his job.
