The New York Giants began a new era on Sunday.
Jaxson Dart is the Giants' starting quarterback, likely for the foreseeable future, and he even led them to a shocking win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
But the news wasn't all good.
Malik Nabers had to be carted off the field after an awkward plant and landing on a leaping catch attempt on a deep pass down the right sideline.
And the news for Nabers isn't good.

Did Malik Nabers tear his ACL?
The initial fears were confirmed with a post from ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday morning:
"An MRI today confirmed that Giants standout WR Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers, per source."
The initial hope for Giants fans at this point is that Nabers was hurt early enough in this season to be back and ready by Week 1 of next season.
He's been prolific to this point in his career. Schefter shared that Nabers' 127 catches through 20 games are second in NFL history to Odell Beckham Jr.
Nabers will be Dart's favorite target in years to come. He'll just have to work hard to get back on the field to make that happen.
