One of the most highly-anticipated debuts in the NFL in Week 1 of the 2025 season is running back TreVeyon Henderson, who is expected to see his first action in the league for the New England Patriots in Week 1.
Henderson was drafted in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft and quickly showed during the preseason just how electric he can be by busting off multiple explosive plays.
The expectation has been that Henderson will have a role right away, despite being listed No. 3 on the depth chart. However, early on in the game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Henderson has yet to get a touch.
So, what's going on? Here's what we know.
Is TreVeyon Henderson playing today?
Henderson is active and healthy, he just hasn't received a touch yet.
Rhamondre Stevenson, who is listed as the starter, was the back the Patriots used on the first drive. We would expect to see Henderson very soon, though, and quite possibly as soon as the second drive of the game.
