Davante Adams has cemented himself as the Los Angeles Rams' No. 2 wide receiver four games into the 2025 campaign, but he's off to a slow start in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.

With No. 1 wide receiver Puka Nacua off to a scorching hot start, Adams has played the role of a strong No. 2 option for quarterback Matthew Stafford, with the veteran wideout tallying 269 yards and three touchdowns to begin his Rams career.

However, Adams hasn't been able to get anything going early on in the Week 5 game on Thursday night.

Let's take a closer look at what's up.

Is Davante Adams playing tonight?

UPDATE: Adams finally has his first catch of the night.

It came on the third offensive series for the Rams and he gained 11 yards on the play. Hopefully there's more where that came from.

UPDATE: Two drives, no targets for Adams.

Stafford connected with Nacua twice and nobody else and the Rams went run-heavy on the drive before Blake Corum turned the ball over.

END OF UPDATE

Adams, who was on the injury report last week, avoided the list ahead of Week 5 and is healthy, active and in the lineup on Thursday night, he just hasn't been targeted yet.

Stafford threw passes to Nacua and Tutu Atwell on an opening drive that only saw one first down and was wrecked because of a sack.

We'll see if Adams can get going on the next series.
