The Kansas City Chiefs made an unexpected addition to the injury report right before their Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, as left tackle Josh Simmons has been added due to an illness.
Simmons, who is now questionable to play, was not on the injury report during the week, so this is a brand new issue for the starting left tackle.
Now, Simmons' status for the contest is up in the air. Here's what we know about whether or not he's going to play on Monday night.

UPDATE: According to The Athletic's Jesse Newell, Simmons is out on the field with his helmet on, so it looks like he's going to play.
Chiefs LT Josh Simmons (questionable, illness) ran onto the field with teammates and now has his helmet on. Looks like he'll give it a go.

END OF UPDATE
There is no update yet on whether or not Simmons is going to suit up. If Simmons can't go, the Chiefs could deploy either Wanya Morris or Jaylon Moore in his place.
We'll update this page once more information is known.
