The Jacksonville Jaguars will need a contribution from wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. if they're going to upset the Kansas City Chiefs in the Week 5 game on Monday night.
Thomas Jr. is off to a disappointing start to the season. Not only has he struggled with some drops, he also has just 164 yards through four games after an electric rookie campaign.
But Thomas is off to an ominous start on Monday night. Here's what's going on with the talented young wideout.
Is Brian Thomas Jr. playing tonight?
UPDATE: Thomas recorded his first catch of the game on the Jags' second drive.
It went for 12 yards.
END OF UPDATE
Yes, Thomas is in the lineup and healthy, he just hasn't been targeted yet.
The Jags had a quick three-and-out on their opening series, so there wasn't much opportunity for him to get going. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence only targeted his running back, Travis Etienne, who also got one carry on the drive.
Hopefully things improve for Thomas from here.
