The magnificence of Tyler Warren might be summed up like this:
The Indianapolis Colts' rookie tight end hasn't caught a touchdown yet through four NFL games. But he has a TD in his stats anyway, because he ran for one in Week 4 as the Colts gave him a basic goal-line handoff.
Warren is special enough to get play calls like that.
And don't worry: He's been great in the passing game, too. In fact, historic.

Warren has 263 receiving yards through four games. That's the most by a tight end in his first four games in NFL history in the Super Bowl era, according to ESPN.
The former Penn State Nittany Lions star came out of college with a lot of fans, and he probably could've gone even higher in the draft.
The Colts got him at No. 14 overall, which already feels like a bargain.
Warren was actually the second tight end off the board. The Chicago Bears took Colston Loveland out of Michigan with the 10th pick, and he'll turn out solid, too.

But there's something extra juiced up about Warren.
No matter what he's asked to do, he delivers. In college, he ran the Wildcat formation and even threw passes.
If the Colts want to do something fun with him, Warren would surely be good with it. And even more than the history he's making, that's what creates such an excitement in Indianapolis around this record-setting rookie tight end.
