That raises an obvious question: Are these two Calvin Johnsons related?

But no, they are not.

Calvin Johnson II of Tulsa can't be the son of the Pro Football Hall of Famer.

The Lions star was the son of Calvin Johnson Sr., which would've made the heroic wide receiver a second or junior already, if they had so chosen.

So Calvin Johnson II is just trying to make a name for himself with quite the name.

CJ2 began his college career at Northwestern. This is his first season with Tulsa.

He's just 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, another sign he might not be Megatron's kid.

But he's a talented football player regardless, and it's fascinating that he ended up with the same name of one of the all-time greats.
