If there's one thing we know about retired Detroit Lions great Frank Ragnow, it's that he loves nature.

During his impressive career with the Lions, Ragnow has always made it quite clear he loves the outdoors. Just take a look at his Instagram page and you'll see a mix of football and fishing photos.

In what is either his first or one of his first social media posts since he announced his retirement earlier this month, Ragnow made the kind of post that perfectly encapsulates who he was off the field.

The post is, of course, nature-related and features none other than a bear sunbathing.

Cue the speculation that Ragnow is coming out of retirement and is being traded to the Chicago Bears. Just kidding, of course.

Ragnow developed into an elite center and one of the best offensive linemen in franchise history over his seven years with the team.

Ragnow earned four Pro Bowl nods and three second-team All-Pro selections and played a massive role in the team's revival in recent years.

Unfortunately, as he said in his retirement announcement, Ragnow's body just simply couldn't hold up anymore, which led to him calling it quits.

"I’ve tried to convince myself that I’m feeling good but I’m not and it’s time to prioritize my health and my families future," Ragnow said.

"I have given this team everything I have and I thought I had more to give, but the reality is I simply don’t. I have to listen to my body and this has been one of the hardest decisions of my life."

With Ragnow gone, the Lions are looking at a competition at center between rookie Tate Ratledge and veteran Graham Glasgow. The loser of that competition will grab one of the starting guard spots.
