The Dallas Cowboys’ fanbase probably felt a lot like one of their best players in recent memory on Thursday night.
Dez Bryant was active on social media after the Cowboys sent Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in a blockbuster trade.
Bryant’s most simple post on X summed up everyone’s feelings in Dallas:
“I can’t believe what the f— I just saw.”
There was much more:
- ”I’m lost right now…”
- “I knew we was tanking”
- “I’m f—ed up right now, real talk”
- “Jerry Jones… you gotta make sense to this s—“
Bryant went on to suggest that this was a potential tank move to try and get Arch Manning to Dallas.

The Cowboys won’t be tanking, of course. That’s kind of ridiculous.
Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens will lead the offense.
And the defense still has a lot of talent all over the field, too.
But it’s fair for Dez not to like this.
Parsons has made a Pro Bowl in each of his first four NFL seasons. He’s the best young defender in football. He looks like he should be a superstar for years to come.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has made this seem like a move that had to be made.
Bryant’s words suggest what many Dallas fans are thinking, that that’s probably not true.
But Parson is gone, and Bryant is sad and mad and all the emotions that the rest of the Cowboys’ fanbase is feeling. It’s a rough time in Dallas, because their beloved No. 11 is gone.
