The Miami Dolphins will travel to Cleveland to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 of the NFL season.

Both teams come into the weekend sitting at 1-5, and looking for their second win of the season. With the rough starts to the year, both coaches are also on the hot seat, seemingly coaching for their job at this point.

However, on Sunday the weather may take the game over entirely. There's a strong cold front moving through Cleveland on Sunday that's expected to bring high winds, rain and cold weather.

Wild weather forecasted for Browns vs. Dolphins

The game is set for a 1 p.m. local kickoff and the cold front will already be started by then.

There's currently a wind advisory and a small craft advisory in place, according to The Weather Channel. The wind advisory is in place until an hour before kickoff, and the small craft advisory is in place until Monday.

The wind advisory means South winds are between 20 mph and 25 mph currently, with gusts up to 45 mph. The small craft advisory is slightly different with South winds between 15 and 20 mph shifting west to 30 knots with gusts up to 40 knots and waves 6 to 10 feet off of Lake Erie.

At game time, the feels like temperature in Cleveland is forecasted at 68 degrees with 21 mph winds and 100 percent chance of rain.

The rain is forecasted to dissipate as the game goes on, but the winds should continue and the temperature will continue to drop.

What does this mean for the game?

The game should go on as planned unless there is lighting in the area. Then, due to players and fans' safety, there will be a stoppage until it's safe to play.

However, if the weather just brings rain, extreme winds and cold temperatures, the game will be played.

The Browns will have rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel under center, and the Dolphins will have veteran quarterback Tua Tagovailoa at the helm.

Expect lots of running and short passes if this weather is truly as wild as it's forecasting to be. The Browns have been the better rushing team with rookie running back Quinshon Judkins. However, the Dolphins are the more veteran team.

Kickoff is still scheduled for 1 p.m. local time, and the temperature is expected to start in the high 60s and drop throughout the game. Wind gusts are forecasted to reach at least 40 mph, with consistent winds around 25 mph. It should make for an interesting scene in Cleveland on Sunday afternoon.
