Dillon Gabriel squares off against 26 years of Browns history in NFL debut image

The Cleveland Browns will kickoff the Sunday slate against the Minnesota Vikings in London on Sunday morning as they seek their second win of the season. In doing so, they will be starting rookie third-round pick Dillon Gabriel at quarterback following four poor performances from Joe Flacco. But if history is any indicator, the Browns will come out of London with a loss.

Since the franchise's return to the NFL in 1999, 14 quarterbacks have made their NFL debuts in a Browns uniform, and they are 0-16 in those games. Per the X account "The Dawgs," Browns quarterbacks have a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 14-22 and a passer rating of 65.9 while the Browns' offense averages just 14.1 points per game.

While the Browns will have history against them, they will also have the top defense in the NFL in EPA per play against them, as the Vikings' defense has been one of the best in the NFL.
