The Cleveland Browns are seemingly a never-ending media circus, and it all revolves around third-string quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The fifth-round pick out of Colorado has faced a ton of scrutiny from the media, as ESPN analyst and former NFL head coach Rex Ryan went off on Sanders.

"This kid runs his mouth like, ‘I got could be a starting quarterback,’ with his arms crossed like this," Ryan said on Get Up via Scott Thompson. "Get your a-- in the front row and study and do all that. If I know, the whole league knows," Ryan said on the program. "Quit being an embarrassment that way. You got the talent to be a quarterback. You should be embarrassed that you’re not the quarterback now."

In response, Sanders spoke to the media - or didn't speak to the media - and addressed reporters by not saying words, but miming the words with his mouth, which led to more criticism. In response, former NFL MVP Cam Newton spoke on Sanders during his 4th and 1 podcast, and sent a friendly warning to Sanders.

"I don't think [the Browns] wand Shedeur to be successful in Cleveland," Newton said.

With Sanders still sitting as the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart, it leaves many wondering if he'll see the field in 2025, and if the Browns would be better off letting him go elsewhere.
