Khalil Shakir has been the Buffalo Bills' most productive wide receiver entering Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season, but you would never know that early on against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night.
Shakir enters Monday night's game with 235 yards, which is the second-most on the team behind tight end Dalton Kincaid. His contribution is even more important on a night in which the team is missing Kincaid due to injury.
But the Bills haven't gotten what they need out of Shakir thus far. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Khalil Shakir playing tonight?
UPDATE: Shakir is finally on the board with his first catch of the night.
Shakir's first grab came on Buffalo's third series and went for 15 yards.
END OF UPDATE
Yes, Shakir is active and in the lineup, and he was even targeted on the opening drive but his reception was negated due to a penalty.
On the Bills' second series, Shakir appeared to bring in another catch, but it was later ruled incomplete on replay.
Let's hope Shakir can get going on the next drive.
