Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is coming off an MVP season last year, and he has started this season in blistering fashion.
And that continued against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, with Allen leading a 10-play, 65-yard drive that ended with a Dalton Kincaid touchdown, and the following drive, Allen and Co. were at it again, leading a 12-play, 65-yard drive that ended with a Jackson Hawes touchdown.
And it was there that history was made.
With his flip pass to Hawes for a touchdown, Allen became the fastest player to reach 300 total touchdowns, surpassing Patrick Mahomes.
It is just another accolade for Allen as he is now firmly establishing himself, at least right now, as the best quarterback in football.

Allen the key to Bills' Super Bowl hopes
With the Bills seen as Super Bowl contenders, it is no surprise to see that it all starts and stops with No. 17.
His ability to be devastating as a passer, along with being a brutal runner, means there isn't anything he can do, and what is even better is that offensive coordinator Joe Brady can win games multiple ways.
Allen led the Bills to a win in Week 1 through the air against the Ravens, and last week, it was James Cook and his 132 rushing yards that were the catalyst for the win.
So, defenses have to pick their poison when it comes to trying to contain Buffalo's offense, and so far, no one has been able to.
And when you have a history-making quarterback at the helm, yeah, you're in a good spot.
