The Baltimore Ravens have a list of injuries defensively that only seems to keep growing. Most notably, All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith is dealing with a hamstring injury that could see him miss multiple games.
In light of that, the Ravens hosted another former All-Pro linebacker for a visit, bringing Eric Kendricks into the facility. However, he reportedly turned down an offer to join the roster.
"Eric Kendricks declined an offer to start out on Baltimore’s practice squad and is headed home this morning," Tom Pelissero reports. "Offseason shoulder surgery kept him out, but he’s in peak shape now and determined to keep playing. He has 1,174 tackles over 10 years, including 138 last season."
Kendricks played with the Dallas Cowboys last season after a one-year stint with the Los Angeles Chargers. He was a First-Team All-Pro in 2019 with the Minnesota Vikings.
With no outside additions, that leaves Trenton Simpson, Teddye Buchanan and Jake Hummel as the three-man-rotation in the middle of the defense.
