The Buffalo Bills are getting set to play their second Sunday night game in five weeks, as they will host the New England Patriots. And while the Bills are undefeated, their defense has had its struggles.
The Bills are giving up the second-most rushing yards per game, trailing only the Chicago Bears, and are giving up the most yards of separation in the passing game, per Next Gen Stats.
The Bills face a Patriots' team whose quarterback, Drake Maye, is having a tremendous start to the year, and they will do so without multiple defensive starters.
"The Bills will not open the practice widow today for any of the players on IR who are eligible for that to happen -- Max Hairston, Tyler Bass, Tylan Grable," Sal Capaccio reports.
In addition, Ed Oliver and Matt Milano will be limited in practice, which isn't a great sign for their respective statuses on Sunday.
Oliver has been out since after Week 1 when he suffered a lower leg injury in practice. Milano was injured in Week 2 against the Jets.
