Is Kyle Pitts playing tonight? Why Falcons tight end is off to quiet start vs. Bills image

After a few disappointing season in a row, Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has begun to find his rhythm again in 2025.

While his numbers haven't been off the charts by any stretch, he is on pace to have his best season since he exploded onto the scene during his rookie campaign in 2021. It's very clear his chemistry with Michael Penix Jr. is better than what he had with Kirk Cousins.

However, Pitts is off to a quiet start in the Week 6 game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Is Kyle Pitts playing tonight?

UPDATE: Pitts is finally on the board with his first catch of the night with a little over four minutes left in the first half.

The reception went for nine yards.

END OF UPDATE

UPDATE: Pitts was targeted twice on the third series, but he was interfered with on one of them and Penix had an errant throw on the other.

Here's to hoping next drive is the one.

END OF UPDATE

Yes, Pitts is active and in the lineup, he just hasn't been targeted yet.

The Falcons flew down the field on their opening drive, but Penix Jr. only connected with Drake London through the air.

On the second drive, the Falcons went three-and-out, so there wasn't much of a chance for Pitts to get going.

Hopefully drive No. 3 will be the one where Pitts gets going.
