The Toronto Raptors cleared up a roster spot on Tuesday night.
They will have a two-way contract to distribute elsewhere now, if they so choose.
The player cut was Jared Rhoden, according to Keith Smith.
In 14 NBA games last season, Rhoden averaged 8.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest.
He spent time last season with the Charlotte Hornets, too.

The Raptors waived Rhoden despite the potential he has shown in the G League.
This past season, Rhoden dropped a career-high 40 points in G League action.
It's not clear what the immediate next step is for Rhoden or the Raptors.
Right now, all we know is that Rhoden won't be with Toronto for this upcoming season.
