Russell Westbrook isn't done yet.
Whether he'll entertain a massive contract offer from European squad Hapoel Tel Aviv isn't certain.
But Russ shared with the basketball world that he plans to keep hooping.
On Thursday, Westbrook posted this caption on Instagram:
"I am a Force of Nature. Seventeen in the (books). Thankful and Grateful for the continued journey. Eighteen on the way."
Year 18 up next for Westbrook, with retirement still off in the future.
Westbrook will turn 37 in November.
He just completed his first season with the Denver Nuggets and has a player option in his contract.
Russ was solid during the regular season but had a nightmare playoffs.
He spent the first 11 years of his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder organization, and has since played for the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Wizards and Rockets.
Westbrook is one of the most statistically accomplished players of all time. He averaged a triple-double in four different seasons and won an MVP award.
It's not clear exactly where Westbrook will wind up next, but someone will give the all-time great a chance to keep his basketball career alive.
