Canada is trending in the right direction.

While it opened exhibition play with a loss to Germany, Canada enters Thursday's matchup with Spain on a two-game winning streak. Following a blowout victory over New Zealand, Canada defeated Germany on Sunday in a thrilling rematch that went into overtime.

RJ Barrett was the star for Canada against Germany, delivering a team-best 31 points on an almost perfect 13-for-14 shooting. He received help from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kelly Olynyk, who combined for 46 points.
