Canada vs New Zealand score, results: Canadians cruise to victory in FIBA Basketball World Cup tune-up game image

Canada's journey to the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup got off to a rocky start with a loss against Germany on Wednesday, but the team bounced back with a dominant win over New Zealand on Saturday.

All-NBA guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander guided the Canadians to a 107-76 victory, totaling 26 points (9-of-12 shooting), six steals and three assists. The Thunder star had 20 points in the first half alone, helping Canada outscore New Zealand 39-14 in the second quarter.

The Canadians will now move on to the DBB SuperCup Final and face either China or Germany on Sunday.
