The New York Knicks could be making some important moves this offseason. The Eastern Conference looks wide open for next season. Knicks trade rumors have indicated that the team isn’t satisfied with their current roster and wants to make some moves. One trade idea from ESPN’s Bobby Marks has the Knicks

When talking about moves the Golden State Warriors should make, Bobby Marks wrote in his “NBA free agency 2025: Cap space, best fits for all 30 teams column”, “One move I would make: Trade Moses Moody to the Knicks for Mitchell Robinson.”

This Warriors-Knicks trade idea could be a home run for the Knicks.

Moses Moody is young, talented, and could provide the reliable bench depth that the Knicks so desperately need.

Mitchell Robinson is also never healthy. Over his last five seasons, he has only averaged 42 games played per season. It’s about time for the Knicks to cut ties with their homegrown center.

Unlike Robinson, Moody has seen his production go up over the last few seasons. Besides the fact that he is usually reliable for at least 60+ games a year, his scoring, assists, and steals numbers have been on a steady increase over the last few seasons.

With most Knicks trade rumors pointing to the team targeting bigger names, Moody would be the Swiss Army knife under-the-radar acquisition that could help their bench blossom.

Moody is also reliable to jump into the starting lineup for long stretches of the season.
