Stephen Curry has been one of the best players in the league for the past decade.

He has managed to win four championships, two of them with Kevin Durant as his co-star.

When they teamed up, the league quivered in fear, two of the best players of all time on the same team with a great supporting cast.

Although Curry isn’t the same player he was then, and the Golden State Warriors don’t have the same support, imagine Curry ran it back with someone equally as dominant as Durant.

That is what Blue Man Hoop’s Peter O’Keefe suggests, as he proposes a trade that would land the Warriors the keys to their next championship.

“The Warriors could be in position to land (Giannis) Antetokounmpo if he becomes available as soon as mid-season,” O’Keefe said Saturday.

“Giannis Antetokounmpo's future at the Milwaukee Bucks continues to be a major talking point heading into the NBA season, with the Golden State Warriors undoubtedly keeping an eye on the 2x MVP given their long-held dream to pair him with Stephen Curry.”

The proposed trade has the Warriors getting Giannis Antetokounmpo and Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

The Milwaukee Bucks would receive Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and four first-round picks, while the Phoenix Suns would get Jimmy Butler and Gary Payton II.

A pick-and-roll of Giannis and Curry would be borderline unstoppable, and in this case, they don’t lose much of their depth.

Of course, they just acquired Butler last season, but unloading him would be easy when you get Giannis in return.

If Antetokounmpo's frustrations continue to grow with Milwaukee, and Golden State is in a win-now position, they may pull off this trade next season.
